SUMMER IN NORWAY     GOLD RUSH     A LONG FORGOTTEN TREASURE

The finding of a floater abruptly ends the summery idyll in the tranquil town Tromsø. Once again, Arne Jakobson, the congenial beat cop, has to deal with a complex murder case. For the murder victim –hobby archaeologist– belonged to a group that is restoring a bunker facility, a reminiscent of WW II. The rumor flares up that a treasure of Nazi gold is hidden in the old bunker, and a gold fever spreads. Even the Norwegian national bank muscles in. When the second murder victim is found, the situation starts to escalate.
