The finding of a floater abruptly ends the summery idyll in the tranquil town Tromsø. Once again, Arne Jakobson, the congenial beat cop, has to deal with a complex murder case. For the murder victim –hobby archaeologist– belonged to a group that is restoring a bunker facility, a reminiscent of WW II. The rumor flares up that a treasure of Nazi gold is hidden in the old bunker, and a gold fever spreads. Even the Norwegian national bank muscles in. When the second murder victim is found, the situation starts to escalate.
»Maybe this lunacy with the gold treasure would come to an end if one could finally search the bunker facility. Then everyone could see that it’s all just a crazy idea that only exists in your head.«
After „Mordkap" an exciting second case for Arne Jakobsen, who captivates with his intricate plot and carefully researched
historical events from the time of the Second World War and the German occupation of Norway.«
»Exciting, convincing and recommendable.«
