One night, the terrier Sandino and his motley crew of allies are visited by an unusual, an unexpected guest – the infamous Rat King of Kreuzberg. He tells them about an ominous disease that affects his people. Increasingly, they start losing
their appetite and perish in agony soon after. Summing up the last of his energy, the Rat King asks Sandino and his friends for help.
